Are you a new Student attending the University of Maryland Baltimore?

Before we can issue you a One Card, you must meet the following criteria:

• Registered Student
• Registered for at least one course
• Have a valid picture identification
• Entered into the Student SIMS database

You can check with your Student Registrar, if you have any questions about your Registration, SIMS and your Class Registration:

• Please Note – Allow 24 hours after signing up for a class before coming to the One Card Office for your One Card

Once your record appears in the SIMS database and you meet all of the criteria above, you can visit our Office for your UMB One Card

Please bring a picture id for verification.

If your School approves you for access to your Building or any other Buildings on Campus after hours, please stop by Public Safety after leaving the One Card Office so your card is programmed for the access.

Student Orientations

Throughout the Campus, the Schools usually schedule a Student Orientation in the Fall and some Schools schedule an Orientation in the Spring. During these Orientations, your School will schedule some time for picture taking and getting your UMB One Card. During these times, all you need to do is follow your Schedule, meet the criteria above and visit us at the Student Center for your One Card. To cut down on wait times, we have 3 stations available processing your new One Card.
